  2. Confirm whether the room is ready and what the guest wants: immediate delivery, storage, or a split (carry-on now, remainder to storage) — don't default to "everything to the room" if housekeeping hasn't cleared it.
  3. Load the cart by the physics rule (heavy/rigid base, centered weight, fragile or needed items on top) and route by floor/elevator bank to minimize cross-property travel.
